The Diascan monitoring system provides real time measurement of the dialysis dose.
It measures the effective ionic clearance (K) and the dialysis dose (Kt/V) to provide clinicians with valuable information about treatment efficiency. The ionic clearance takes into account all parameters contributing to solute removal, and the estimation of the end-session value lends itself for comparison to the prescribed Kt/V to immediately detect deviations that need to be corrected.
