The symmetrical structure of Nephral ST hydrogel membrane enhances its diffusion, convection & especially adsorptive properties, and contributes to efficient removal of b2-microglobunlin, AGEs, cytokines or anaphylatoxins. (1,2,3)

Systemic heparin reduction

The surface treatment of the membrane with PEI biopolymer prevents blood contact activation and binds heparin during priming with a pre-heparinized solution.  This may result in less systemic heparin being given to the patient. (4)

Associated with Acetate Free Biofiltration therapies, Nephral ST dialyzer contributes to cardiovascular stability in patients at risk. (5)
